Electronic Arts has confirmed that the anticipated sequel/reboot of Mirror's Edge is now expected to release in early 2016. The release schedule was shown in the company's Q4 Financial Year 2015 Results (that you can see for yourselves here). There was, however, a caveat: "All launch dates are subject to change," says the document.
Mirror's Edge 2 is currently in development over at DICE, with the studio also working on the new Star Wars: Battlefront. With that game set to release this autumn, it does seem unlikely that the company can finish two major titles in such a short period of time. We should get more information about both games this June during E3.
