Playing the ultra-violent fighting game, Mortal Kombat X, has turned out to be tons of fun, but only if you do so on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The PC version has been lagging severely and there's been plenty of problems for players that have hampered the experience somewhat.

Fortunately, that should be about to change today. In a Twitch stream (via Reddit) yesterday, producer Ed Boon promised a major patch that will make the PC version just as solid as those on the consoles - if not even better when you consider the potentially more powerful graphics.

"Tomorrow there will be a patch for the PC version. It literally brings the PC version to parity with the console versions and there's huge improvements coming to that version. That's a lot of the feedback we have been getting back; people with PC issues, so we're really excited to get them the version they deserve."

If you haven't played Mortal Kombat X yet, we suggest you read our review where we explain why it's worth checking out. It's also worth mentioning that the serial killer from the Friday the 13th movies, Jason Vorhees, will be available to download today.
