Arc. Wand. Playstation Motion Controller. Can we just settle on a name already? Neogaf user gofreak (which would be an awesome name for the controller, if you ask me) dug up that Sony trademarked the name "Playstation Move" this week. The description of the trademark reads "game controllers for consumer video game consoles for use with an external display screen or monitor and attachment devices therefor".
This logo is also a part of the registration. I can't wait for Sony to showcase the controller at GDC so we can put this to rest and I don't have to write Arc/Wand/Move in every piece of news I write about it anymore.
