Left Behind, Naughty Dog's story-driven DLC expansion for The Last of Us, is going to be released as a standalone on May 12. The individual chapter, which explores Ellie's life before the events of the main story, is going to hit PS3 and PS4 simultaneously and it'll cost €9.99 / £7.99 (the original add-on for PS3 will also be reduced to this price at the same time).

Also included is a two hour trial of the Factions Multiplayer mode from the main game, and players will also be able to buy just the multiplayer mode, or any combination of multiplayer, single-player and add-on content. If you've played The Last of Us but didn't get around to the expansion chapter, you can read our review of Left Behind here to find out more.
