Earlier this week the world was shocked when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Kathmandu in Nepal. Due to poor infrastructure and weak buildings the damages are catastrophic and the death toll quickly reached the thousands.
In an effort to aid those affected by the catastrophe help organisations from all over the world has travelled to Nepal, and having spent lots of time in the region while working on Far Cry 4 developer Ubisoft has developed a strong connection to the country.
As such they want to help the victims of this tragedy, and in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross, a Nepal Region Earthquake Fund has been established. Through it both personal donations and donations on behalf of a company can be submitted. Ubisoft and the The Far Cry team will match donations up to the first $100,000, and thus far around $16,000 worth of donations have been made.
