Indie game publisher Devolver Digital has suggested, most likely with their tongue firmly in cheek, that they too might like their own E3 press conference.
The statement was made over on Twitter, where the company account said: "If every other publisher is going to have an E3 press conference then Devolver Digital should too, right? Fave for yes, RT for hell yes."
When saying "every other publisher" they're referencing the recent announcements from Bethesda and Square Enix, with both companies set to make a splash at this year's show, joining the likes of EA and Ubisoft on stage with their own conferences.
However, we've never seen an indie publisher make that kind of statement at E3. Even if they do get support from their community, it's probably just a joke, something that Devolver are known to enjoy from time to time. Still, many a true word spoke in jest, and you wouldn't want to bet against them doing something.
