Do you remember the Xbox Avatars? Microsoft's version of Nintendo's Miis didn't go on to become a huge success, although they were charming in their own way.
They haven't really been seen since the launch of Xbox One, but now the Avatars are making their return through Windows 10. Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb wrote on Twitter:
"We're bringing the Avatars app to Xbox fans in the Windows 10 preview - more to share later this week."
It is still unknown exactly what role the Avatars will play, and if we get to see them on Xbox One, but if you've been missing your little cartoon companion since the glory days of Xbox 360 and are looking forward to getting them back, then stay tuned for more details.
