While Microsoft is taking it's time to specify a release date for Windows 10, pointing merely to a vague "summer release", CEO of AMD, Lisa Su, may have revealed more than she should during an investor's call. While referring to various issues related to AMD, Lisa Su also said the following, according to the Seeking Alpha:
"What we also are factoring in is, you know, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching the sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."
PC Gamer has since reached out to Microsoft, who still refuses to specify a date, keeping a vague summer launch window.
