Lack of proper screwdriver causes frustration.

In November last year one of the founders of the piracy (or at least piracy enabling) website Pirate Bay, Fredrik Neij, was apprehended near the Thailand border and brought back to Sweden. At the time he was internationally wanted for escaping a 10 month jail sentence, and he is now incinerated at the correctional facility in Skänninge in the Swedish countryside.

To pass the time he wishes to play on his vintage 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console. His request have been denied however, as the prison lack the necessary equipment to inspect the console.

"The console in question is sealed in such a way that the unit cannot inspect it without damaging it. Because of this the unit is unable to perform the necessary control to ensure it does not contain prohibited material", facility staff comments on the matter.

Neij on the other hand claims that the console can be safely opened with the use of a quite cheap screwdriver, of the same kind Nintendo uses for all of their console. He is thus frustrated that the console remains out of reach, and begs the facility to send the machine to a different unit for control.

"One can only wonder how many others are affected by this as all consoles Nintendo make can be opened with the same screwdriver", Neij writes in a formal complaint.

We would assume downloading an emulator is out of the question?
