Meet Vermintide's Witch Hunter
Developers Fatshark have revealed fleshed out details of one of the five heroes that are playable in the upcoming action co-op title Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide, namely the Witch Hunter.
His name is Victor Saltzpyre and his beef with the Skaven is rather personal. In fact, he lost an eye in a skirmish with them and now he travels the lands in search for clues about their whereabouts. As he comes to Ubersreik he'll get more than his fair share.
As is the case with all heroes in Vermintide, the Witch Hunter isn't locked down to one playing style. He starts out with a Rapier and a brace of pistols, but you can equip him with a great sword and repeater pistol to target multiple enemies at once or go for a more measured approach with crossbow and a one-handed axe doing great damage and penetrating the armour of one enemy.
Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide is being targeted for release later this year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Below are some Witch Hunter screens.
