Go fetch you salt. The big bag. It is being rumoured that Ryu from the Street Fighter series is on his way to Super Smash Bros for Wii U. The source for this information is hackers who have been data mining the latest update for the game and found remains of this, as well as Fire Emblem character Roy (who was playable in Super Smash Bros Melee for the Wii).

Capcom and Nintendo are already co-operating in Smash Bros with Mega Man being in it, so it's not entirely impossible for this to be true. But rumours like this has been proven false before, a fresh example of this is of course all the talk about Rayman being added to the roster. And with Street Fighter V being a PS4 exclusive it wouldn't make a lot of sense for Nintendo to promote the flagship character of said game. But stranger things have happened.

Thanks, Nintendo Life.
