It has been revealed during an event - Closed Conference 2015 - that Team Ninja are the studio developing Dissidia Final Fantasy, a new arcade game that's releasing in Japan next week.
Sony Computer Entertainment's Atsushi Morita was on hand at the event to confirm that the game was built using PS4 technology, and although a console version of the game wasn't announced, Siliconera reports "that they would like for fans to first enjoy it in arcades."
The same report also states that an unnamed Square Enix producer revealed that development towards a console release wouldn't take place until the game had been in arcades for at least one year.
