Developer Flying Mollusk's debut game Nevermind has been released on Steam Early Access. The game is interesting first-person horror adventure which uses separately sold biofeedback sensors to measure player's stress levels and then adjusts the difficulty accordingly. If you manage to keep your head cool, you can go on rather easily, but if you get upset, the difficulty will go up.
Interesting concept, no doubt. The game's first Kickstarter actually failed in early 2014, but the follow-up lower-budget campaign later on was a success. Check out the game description from the press release below. Nevermind can found on Steam here with a price of 22,99€.
"In Nevermind, players take the role of Neuroprobers, specialized physicians who use cutting-edge technology to venture into the minds of victims devastated by psychological trauma, exploring the darkest and most surreal corners of their subconscious minds while solving puzzles to ultimately help them come to terms with their past.
At the time of launch, Nevermind's unique biofeedback features can be activated with a variety of sensor options - including any RealSense-enabled laptop. A full list of available sensors can be found on <a href="http://www.nevermindgame.com/sensors/"</a>, with more due to be added as development continues. Nevermind can also be enjoyed without any sensors - playing more as a more traditional, non-biofeedback enhanced, but equally engaging, game."
