While we are still waiting news about the future of Metal Gear Solid saga, as it seems that Hideo Kojima could leave Konami at the end of this year, Deadline revealed that Sony Pictures have recently closed an agreement to release a movie adaptation of Metal Gear Solid.
As reported by the website, the script will be written by Jay Basu, while the young independent filmmaker Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be involved as director. At the moment, new details about the project aren't unveiled, nor it was specified if Kojima will be involved in the project or not. We'll keep you updated on that.
