As you may have read earlier, the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight was pushed back three weeks and the game is now set to release June 23. Everyone who chooses to pre-order Rocksteady's new game will also get the Harley Quinn DLC along with the main game. Now it seems that this pre-order bonus has gotten more interesting, at least if the product description on Amazon is correct.
"For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker's psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department. With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley's demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need."
As you can see, anyone who pre-orders the game will get to play her story which in turn leads up to the events in Batman: Arkham Knight. This will likely be a big incentive for many, and we can't help feeling that it comes off as a bit cynical. Even though die hard fans probably have pre-ordered the game already, many of you are waiting until the reviews are in. Hopefully, it will be possible to cancel a pre-order if you should have a change of heart.
