Gamereactor has previously reported about redundancies at the Driveclub developer Evolution Studios. Now it appears the changes may be even bigger than expected with 55 people being forced to leave, that's about half of the studio and means that also permanent staff will be affected.
Sony hasn't made any official comments yet, but given the problems Driveclub has suffered perhaps these changes should not come as a surprise. Given that there are plans to support Driveclub further and launch the long delayed PS Plus Edition, perhaps we should not expect any new major project from Evolution Studios.
