Abdul Al-Amry, an Youtube user, shared a video where he shows his new project, which aims to blur the lines between reality and virtual the virtual reality experience of the Oculus Rift. What Al-Amry did was integrate a Webcam within the virtual reality device that, in this case, shows his actual hands and gaming wheel within the game world.
The project is still at an early stage, and as himself admits, there is still plenty to improve. While it is an interesting concept that could work well in some games, it requires very specific conditions, in a device that is already limited in what it can approach due to the virtual reality nature of the experience. Still, it's a pretty cool concept.
