Sony has officially confirmed system software update 2.50, codenamed Yukimura. The update will soon deliver Suspend/Resume, as well as a number of other community requested features to PS4.

Suspend/Resume will create an atmosphere where your games are immediately available at any time - just pick up your controller, hit the PS button and get right back into the action of your games. When it's time to log off, simply put your PS4 in Rest Mode and when you power up the next time, you'll start your game where you left off. Only catch: The game itself has to actively support this feature.

Other notable features are:

- You will be able to upgrade a sub-account to a master account directly on your PS4.

- You will be able to search your Facebook friends in order to add them as PSN friends.

- Remote Play & Share Play at 60 fps - if you've got the bandwidth to deal with you will be able to choose between 30 fps and 60 fps.

- Trophy improvements. A screenshot will be snapped when a trophy is earned for easy sharing. And you will be able to remove games with 0% completion from your list of games.

- Increased accessibility. These options include "text to speech" and the ability to invert colours and change fonts. But perhaps the biggest change is that you will be able to reassign buttons for the DualShock 4 controller.

- Share video clips on Dailymotion.
