Crowdfunded MMORPG Camelot Unchained has been in alpha testing for a week now, with the centre piece of this latest testing phase the new standalone CUBE building module that offers players the tools to create a variety of different buildings in the game.

"The entire team is very excited about starting this test," said CSE's Mark Jacobs. "Our development plan was to start by building a solid foundation of technology. Having done so, we're now ready to increase our focus on gameplay and the three Cs, combat, crafting and C.U.B.E."

Pre-alpha testing was a success when it took place late last year, and it seems that this next face is also going well for the studio. Camelot Unchained was backed on Kickstarter to the tune of $2.2 million USD, and according to Jacobs there's around 8,000 backs involved in these early testing phases.
