The 1.2 Wings update has just landed in Elite: Dangerous, and this much needed patch brings with it full co-op support, AI groups, two new playable ships, and a better comms interface. Players will also be able to take spaceship selfies. However, it's the Wings part of the update that's the most important, with players now able to play co-op (more on that here). You can also head this way for some extensive patch notes.

Elite: Dangerous has in recent days also been confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, although we're unlikely to get cross-platform play between any of the three platforms. We really liked the original PC version when we played it, and you can read our review right here.
