Update
Rockstar has confirmed on their support page that all online versions of GTA Online are now up and running as normal, so you can go back to Heisting your way through the new content should you so wish.

It's not been a smooth launch for the new Heists in GTA Online, with Rockstar confirming issues with the Xbox Live version of the game.
On top of that - like many of you - we had issues getting online on PlayStation too (GR Editors are reporting that it was possible to get in missions a couple of times, but other times they were just sent straight back into single-player with the standard error message), although that seems to have eased now.
Rockstar is aware of the issues and has asked gamers to check back here for further updates: "We are working to restore full access to GTA Online as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please stay tuned to this page to monitor the performance of all platforms."
