Al Lowe, the man behind the Leisure Suit Larry franchise, has joined forces with Ken Wegrzyn, a former Walt Disney exec, to launch a new Kickstarter campaign.

Sam Suede in Undercover Exposure is the first game to come from Lowe since the last Leisure Suit Larry game, way back in the 90s. "This is not a revival or a remake. It's the original comedic game that Al and I designed after I brought Al out of retirement," says Wegrzyn.

Wisecrack Games, the company formed to make the game, has recruited Steve Ince, a writer and designer on the recent Witcher and Broken Sword franchises. "Sam Suede is an exciting project, is extremely funny, and fits perfectly with the way I love to work," says Ince. "This game will be so full of fun, I may just explode while working on it!"

The campaign needs to make $500,000 to get funded, and they have just over a month and a half to hit their target. For more details, or to pledge some wonga, head to the game's Kickstarter page.
