38 Studios' founder Curt Schilling spoke to Providence Journal about the dire situation his company finds itself in.

Schilling puts part of the blame on the state reneging on certain financing, and public comments made by governor Lincoln Chaffee that apparently cost them a $35 million contract for a sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Schilling has spent around $50 million of the money he earned as a pitcher in Major League Baseball on 38 Studios.
