Starbreeze Studios have revealed their half-year results (July 1-December 31, 2014) and the studio behind the Payday franchise is still riding high on the success of Payday 2 actually increasing revenue for the most recent quarter year-on-year in spite of not having launched a new product.
The company also revealed that Payday 2: Crimewave Edition will launch on PS4 and Xbox One in June. In addition to the retail release the game will naturally also hit PSN and Xbox Live where those who pre-order will get a 25% discount prior to release. The Crimewave Edition will come with a year worth of DLC included.
Starbreeze also commented on other developments such as their upcoming Walking Dead title. Overkill's The Walking Dead (OTWD for short). "OTWD is in a stage with heavy technology and design focus. The game is created by Overkill in Stockholm and with insourced staff in Los Angeles," writes CEO Bo Andersson Klint in a press statement.
