If you remember last month, the winner of the auction for the very first 20th Anniversary Edition of the PlayStation 4 pledged to pay $128,000 for the sought-after console. It turns out the person that made the big bid didn't stump up the money in the end. At the time Sony promised to donate any money made from the console's sale to charity, and despite the bidder failing to pay up, the platformer holder has decided to honour their half of the deal, and will send the money over to Save the Children. The console will be put on display at its showroom in Ginza, Tokyo, from February 21.
Thanks, DualShockers.
