Newcomer to the indie scene, Rubycone, will soon release their survival horror game, Hektor. In what looks like a modern day Amnesia: The Dark Descent, we'll need to uncover the dark past of an underground military facility. Armed only with a lighter and a flashlight, we'll have to explore corridors and rooms in the mysterious facility deep under the surface of northern Greenland.
The corridors of Hektor are randomly generated, leaving us guessing what's behind every corner and every door. We'll have to solve riddles and explore the vast military facility, and at the same time we'll be chased by gruesome monsters. After years of torture, the main character is in a state of deep psychosis, and thus also needs to search for medication to stop him from going full-on crazy.
This looks like an exciting project, and we are both looking forward to and dreading the thought of taking a closer look at the game when it releases in March.
