Sony has announced (via the Playstation Blog) that it is now possible to upgrade your PSN Sub Accounts to Master Accounts.
The Sub Accounts, built for younger gamers, come with a spending limit and other restrictions. If the owner of that account has turned 18, you can now switch it to a Master Account with no trouble.
The Blog states that this is a result of feedback, with many players asking for the change.
