Despite the fact that Nintendo is back in the black again and has had a slight increase in Wii U sales, they are far behind their competitors Microsoft and Sony especially in the next-gen hardware race. But this doesn't mean Nintendo is giving up on the Wii U.

"Wii U is not over yet. I want to continue to build on playing on people's high expectations [for the system]."
