Former Sony Bend artist Athey Moravetz spilled some beans about projects and concepts he worked on as part of the Sony Bend team over on Reddit (via NeoGAF.

Among the more interesting things he mentioned was that they worked on a second Uncharted title for PS Vita (Sony Bend developed Uncharted: Golden Abyss released in 2012).

"It was going to be another Uncharted game but naughty dog was worried about franchise burnout with so many games coming out so close together, so they nixed it. We spent like a whole year dicking around with different ideas and pitches after that before I left the studio. We started and threw away so many demos during that year."

Moravetz, did not want to say anything about the new project in development at Sony Bend, but he did speak of burnout and talent that had left. He also mentioned that we shouldn't expect a new Syphon Filter from Sony Bend and that they also worked on a pitch for an Infamous game.

Sony Bend's most recent release - Uncharted: Golden Abyss (2012).
