"The challenge when we made the first game was to create something that would make people dream about something else," said creative director Jonathan Morin in an interview with GamesTM when speaking about last year's new open-world IP, Watch Dogs.

During the interview Morin acknowledged that the first game was not "perfect in any way," and admits that "there's a lot of room for improvement."

Morin also had this to say about the still unannounced (but inevitable) second game: "With a sequel, there is more pressure to push a brand forward and we now have to appeal to fans in a new way. You have to carry on taking risks."

When the sequel eventually lands, the plan is to make a game that's more player driven, with less emphasis on filling in the narrative on the player's behalf: "We want to allow them to play with a very different state of mind, not wrap up concepts for them."
