The Nintendo Direct yesterday had plenty of games and good news for gamers, but one thing that wasn't there was Metroid. Despite this, Nintendo updated their website with information about New Nintendo 3DS and added Metroid as franchise with exclusive games for the system. It reads:
Exclusive games
From Super Smash Bros.™ for Nintendo 3DS to Pokémon™, Animal Crossing™ to Metroid™, the Nintendo 3DS family of handheld systems are home to fan-favorites you can't find anyplace else."
It might of course be an honest mistake, but it might as well be a hint of things to come since they could have added tons of other Nintendo franchises that actually exists for the system - but decided to go with the one that isn't there (other as a Virtual Console title).
What do you make of this?
