A new preview has lifted the lid on some new details regarding the upcoming action-adventure from Naughty Dog, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The story was published in GameInformer's February issue, and it includes several bits of information.
One of these nuggets was the multiplayer mode, which probably won't surprise anybody. We've been able to play against each other online since Uncharted 2, so this is nothing new. Still, it's nice to have it confirmed.
But more interestingly the game now features a companion, who is Drake's long lost brother, Sam. He is compared to Ellie from The Last of Us in terms of AI behaviour.
There are also multiple paths across levels, and each one of these will have different consequences. Naughty Dog has completely overhauled the AI of enemies, so they might offer more of a challenge this time.
The release date for the latest entry in the series is yet to be confirmed, but expect it to be with us later this year.
