Several ex-Ubisoft employees have founded a new game development studio called Big Bad Wolf, based in Bordeaux, France. The founders call themselves "veterans of the video game industry", having had roles with developers Cyanide, Ubisoft and Blizzard.

The new studio's aim is to create a new set-up, specialising in narrative-based RPGs. No project has been official unveiled as yet, so far they're only talking about their "new dark IP", describing it as "inward-looking, dark, mature and set behind closed doors." That said, they do mention that it's coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The developers at the new studio have previously worked on titles such as World of Warcraft, Game of Thrones (the 2012 Atlus game), Of Orcs and Men, Styx: Master of Shadows and Blood Bowl. Should make for an interesting mix.

Blurry screenshots from the Big Bad Wolf website. The picture is called "The Sox" which could potentially be the name of their first game.
