Sony has released new details regarding the number of PS4 consoles that have been sold worldwide. They have shifted 18.5 million consoles, 4.1 million alone during holiday period and thanks to Thanksgiving and Black Friday in North America. They also have 10.9 million users paying for the Playstation Plus subscription service, that includes PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. By comparison, the official numbers released by Microsoft state that they've sold ten million Xbox One consoles, but those figures are from November and as such we are still waiting for a more recent count (which will most likely point to a successful period from Microsoft's perspective).
