Iron Galaxy Studios has a nice surprise for all Killer Instinct fans on the official forums. They have announced the next character for season two of Killer Instinct - Omen - and this one is an extra that will be handed out for free if you've bought any of the games bundles.
That means instead of the promised eight characters, you will get nine. Omen won't be sold separately either, so the bundles is the only way to get him. Not much is known other that he's a mix between Jago and Shadow Jago (Omen was the character that made Jago possessed), and have some all-new moves as well.
More information and media will be released this week, but here's some data (more can be found the the official forums):
• 3 shadow stocks
• Shadow-powered ability to cancel any action, turn into shadow, and move a short distance in any direction
• Multi-hitting close-range kick special
• Powerful projectile zoning with some radical projectile options
• A special move that burns all 3 stocks!
• Aerial movement options
• Slide
