As you might recall from last autumn, Bandai Namco announced that they wanted to create an Arabic fighter for Tekken 7. Now producer Katsuhiro Harada has taken to Twitter to confirm that they have decided to run with the idea and that they have finalised the design (the old concept art can be found below).
The character is called Shaheen and originates from Saudi Arabia. Nothing else is known about him at this point, but we'll surely get to know more about him and his fighting style later this year. Harada also confirmed there are more new characters coming in Tekken 7, so expect news on that front in the coming months.
