It was Activision's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that sold the most copies last week in the UK and thus it was crowned Christmas no. 1, just ahead of FIFA 15. A well timed promotion on PS4 was deemed key to the win according to the Chart-track folks as Advanced Warfare rose 33% week-on-week (FIFA only rose 8%). Looking at the individual charts it seems clear that new-gen games are what will fill Christmas stockings this year with PS4 and Xbox One dominating the top ten. It should also be noted that The Crew benefitted from a "huge price promotion" this week that saw it rise to number 6.
