The Iron Banner returns to Destiny

Lord Saladin is back in in the Tower.

The Iron Banner is back in Destiny, and Lord Saladin will be in the Tower for a whole week, with players able to work towards getting some new gear from the high-stakes playlist (this time it's gloves and boots with Light 33, although the two weapons shown below come packing 331 damage).

The playlist won't include any of the new expansion maps, so all players will be able to tuck into the content regardless of whether they've bought The Dark Below. Given that players were annoyed at being locked out of the latest round of Weekly and Nightfall Strikes, this will likely be well received news.
