Did you get any new games or consoles during Black Friday? The Americans sure did, and it seems most of them wanted an Xbox One. It's Infoscout that's been taking surveys with panelists (data methodology and graphs in the bottom) and according to them Xbox One got a whopping 53% market share alone, with Playstation 4 at 31%.
The Wii U only got 6% and Infoscout offers another survey about who the console was bought for. It turns out 92% bought the console for their kids, which only was true for 45% of those who opted for Playstation 4.

Infoscout panelists submitted 180k+ receipts over the course of Black Friday. The data includes purchases at all major retailers carrying electronics including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, RadioShack, and others.
Of course, this isn't the final word, but this does set up the November NPD report as an interesting read. Could Xbox One come out on top after ten months of PS4 domination?
