If you're wondering when Dean "Rocket" Hall and his team over at Bohemia Interactive will finally get DayZ finished, then a recent post on Steam has some (fairly vague) answers.

In a nutshell, the Early Access zombie apocalypse simulator is expected to be finished in the first half of 2016, and the studio have also confirmed that the price of the game will continue to increase until the game reaches a finished state.

"Having completed our first year of Early Access development, we have reached an important project milestone. Looking forward into the opportunities and obstacles of the coming year, we would like to share our plans and goals for 2015. These plans change over time, and internally the team has reviewed our progress this year against where we want DayZ to be at 1.0."

The studio uses the post to outline their plans for the coming year (see below), with a beta expected to hit at the end of 2015. The current price of 22.99 GBP/23.99 EUR/29.99 USD is set to rise to 27.99 EUR/34.99 USD, and at launch it will cost 39.99 EUR/49.99 USD (there's no mention of future GBP prices). Here's the schedule for next year:
