Last year it was confirmed that there'd be tax breaks for UK games that pass a "cultural test", and now the first batch of titles that have been approved for tax relief have been revealed (there's been around 30 that have applied, whether the rest are still being processed or failed the cultural test is unclear). Thirteen games have started the process, including:

Beyond Flesh and Blood by Pixelbomb
Fractured Space by Endless Tiger
Gingersnap by Elderberry Post
MazeCraft by HyperLiger
Potion Pop by Delinquent Interactive
Shred It! by Extra Mile Studios
SKARA - The Blade Remains by SKARA The Blade Remains
SoccerManager.com by Soccer Manager
Soul Axiom by Wales Interactive
Wayward Tide by Chucklefish Games

Spacepants by Boxface Games is the only game to have received final certification, the rest have interim certification (and two projects are currently being kept quiet). Titles that are approved stand to receive up to 25% of tax relief pertaining to their production costs since April 1 of this year.
