ABC reports on a robbery in Houston where three armed and masked robbers first robbed a GameStop and then turned to rob the customers lining up to collect their pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto V. One customer was tased by the robbers.
Authorities have yet to apprehend the suspects who managed to rid themselves of a tracking device the GameStop clerk had put in the bag with money along their getaway route.
And no, sadly this does not seem to be a publicity stunt pulled by Franklin, Michael and Trevor to hype the game, instead this simply appears a case of life imitating art that imitated life.
