When an ad campaign is planned there are naturally many different ideas that are being thrown around and when Nintendo were looking to launch Super Mario Strikers (Mario Smash Football) on Gamecube in Europe they were looking into print ads. Some proposals didn't make all the way to print and one of the rejected ones was revealed by Doctor Cupcakes on Twitter, and it may be fairly easy to see why this one may have been at odds with Nintendo's image.
