Grand Theft Auto V is heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 18, and with the close proximity of the HD update's release, a few details regarding the game's functionality on the PS4's DualShock 4 have been confirmed.

"Switch seamlessly between camera perspectives on the fly (including from first person to third person), switch radio stations, weapons and camera angles, and even quick-toss a grenade in the middle of a firefight - all with a swipe or a tap on the Touch Pad," it says on the PS Blog.

We'll be able to hear radio chatter through the controller's built-in speaker, as well as phone calls from the various characters. Another nice feature is the use of the light bar, which will have a different colour for each character, but will flash red and blue when the long arm of the law is in hot pursuit.

GTAV is about to go first-person.
