The Japanese Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (via DualShockers) published the results of a survey it conducted at Tokyo Game Show, that offers us a look at the bigger picture of the Japanese gaming landscape. It indicates the percentage of consoles owned by the participants, against how many use it regularly.
According to the survey, 22% have a Wii U, and 20% play it regularly. As for the PS4, only 17% of the participants have Sony's new console, with 14.6% using it often. Without surprise, Xbox One is the least favourite among the Japanese audience, with only 2.6% of the people interviewed claiming to own Microsoft's new console, and only 2.4% using it regularly.
Despite PS4's good performance since launch, Wii U is still leading in Japan. It will be interesting to see how this contest evolves between now and next year's TGS.
