Another announcement to emerge from Blizzcon this weekend is the news that MOBA Heroes of the Storm - which is currently in technical alpha - is heading into closed beta on January 13.
"We've very much enjoyed sharing the technical alpha with you, and your feedback over the past eight months has helped us make Heroes even more epic... We can't wait to hear more from all of you as we move toward closed beta testing in January," Blizzard's Mike Morhaime said.
Skytemple and Tomb of the Spider Queen are the new arenas being thrown into the mix, while Thrall, Jaina and the Lost Vikings are the next heroes to be added. Ranked play will also be making an appearance for the first time.
The open beta testing phase for Blizzard's MOBA is planned sometime thereafter, so if you want to be in with a shout of taking part in the upcoming closed event then make sure that you've registered your interest in the relevant section of your profile on Battle.net.
