Homeworld Remastered coming in February

High definition version on show at PAX Australia.

Homeworld Remastered is (hopefully) heading to PC in February 2015 according to Gearbox Software (who, if you didn't already know, picked up the IP when THQ went the way of the dodo).

You can see the PAX Australia presentation here, but the basic details are thus: Gearbox have been putting "the band back together" by hiring old Relic devs to remaster the classic sci-fi strategy game.

The graphics have been redone, as have the cinematics. "Let's take Homeworld into the new generation," said Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford. The Collector's Edition was also discussed during the presentation, and a few new screens we're also shown (some of which you can see below).
