Sega and High Voltage Software have announced Tournament of Legends for the Nintendo Wii continuing the relationship developer and publisher had with last summer's The Conduit. A fighting game with a mythological setting, it's a far cry from the shooter antics of The Conduit, but the game uses the same Quantum 3 Engine made famous by High Voltage's last game.

"With Tournament of Legends, we want to take Wii weapon-based fighting to a bigger place. Along with a wide selection of blade weapons and animated magic attacks we've achieved rich graphical effects and detailed, epic characters with the Quantum 3 engine. The mythological characters are some of the biggest 3D playable characters on Wii." said Eric Nofsinger, COO of High Voltage Software.

Tournament of Legends was previously known as Gladiator AD and shown at last year's E3.
