Eddie Zarick, popular 'modder' and 'Youtuber', has now managed to sandwich the two latest Microsoft consoles together inside a fancy (and naturally gigantic) gaming box/laptop.

After the impressive Xbook and Playbook 4, the so called Xbook Duo also includes speakers, a 22 inch monitor, cable ports, disc tray and external controls for both the console(s) and the TV screen, with the main difference being a pretty prominent switch button to select desired system and switch video signal and electricity (as it uses just one power brick, the one from the Xbox One, to power only one of the machines).

The creator of this mod mentions the "frustrating" and "disappointing" absence of backwards compatibility, so he came up with this chunky 'book' to solve the issue and keep all his two-latest-generation Xbox gaming in one single unit.

The other big difference versus previous books is this is just a testing prototype, not for sale at the moment, so keep your wallet safe for now if you found this as the perfect solution for you as well. Followers are already asking for a Wii U 1-2 screens solution. Wii Buuk anyone?

You can learn all about this unique mod with Zarick's Youtube presentation and "how it's made" video.
