343's Dan Ayoub just confirmed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection has gone gold, and the game is now on its way to be manufactured and distributed. As part of the announcement the studio confirmed that pre-orders and pre-downloads will be open from later on today. It was also confirmed that they've almost filled an entire Blu-ray disc, and so a 20GB content update will be released at launch.
343 also confirmed that the November 11 release date for Europe and North America should also apply to most other territories (check here for local info). Finally, another part of the announcement was the reveal of a slight delay to the episodic co-op element from Halo 4 - Spartan Ops - which is now set to be released in December.
